Complaints are frequently made about the indoor environment in non-industrialized workplaces. However, upon conducting technical analysis, the results seldom show remarkable values, despite reports of symptoms ranging from skin and mucous membrane irritation, to those of a more general nature. These results can often cause frustration and worry, resulting in the need for a clear strategy that can be put into operation when such circumstances arise. A strategy, primarily called “The Örebro Model”, has been used since the middle of the 1980s and is further described elsewhere; The MM Questionnaires constitute a basic part of this model.
The intention of this website is to provide information on the MM questionnaires, including the experiences of many case studies and cumulative data collection. In the bibliography, articles and reports are presented associated with the MM Questionnaires and the indoor climate research at the Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Örebro University Hospital, Örebro, Sweden.
The MM Questionnaires are copyright protected but are free to use in whole or parts in indoor climate investigations and research outside of Sweden it the source is mentioned.
This website is embryonic in nature but has been opened because of the demands of researchers, students and consultants. A complete first English edition will be available later this year.
